Shaya is the captain of the Glomar and "leader" of the group, although most important matters are voted on by everyone on the Glomar. Shaya is a sad women, her one true love married another, and then died. She is a good leader, knowing when to fight, and when to run. She seems to be most at home on the bridge of the Glomar.
